Description and Responsibilities


Role scope

Global Director– CRM & Data Strategy is a key leadership role in the digital organization at Kerry contributing to the continued evolution of Kerry’s approach to driving commercial effectiveness. This person will bring a combination of quant rigor, project management, creativity, and strategic thinking to Kerry to drive continuous improvement of Kerry’s CRM ecosystem and a focus on data driven business optimization.


Reports to Global VP – Digital Partner closely – Regional executive teams, marketing leadership teams, regional marketing, sales, R&D, and market research teams, ICT organization, and procurement Supervisory role – Direct management of global analyst team, functional/dotted line management of regional marketing analyst and eCommerce analyst teams


Specific Responsibilties:


  • Lead Kerry’s CRM evolution, optimizing Kerry’s Salesforce platform and its ecosystem of related tools to create a business relevant sales and project innovation engine
  • Assess marketing, sales, R&D, and finance needs across the Kerry organization, then propose innovative solutions to meet business need and improve commercial effectiveness
  • Enable the execution of data and customer-driven marketing strategies through the clear assessment, development, and communication of strategic CRM and Marketing Automation programs
  • Define state of the art approaches to assess and model customer profiles, customer segmentation, and customer behaviors
  • Develop customer attribution and ROI models that are used to enhance testing and targeting, increase revenue, generate cost savings, and allocate resources more efficiently
  • Inform data capture via tagging, tracking, and behavioral measurement plans across all communications tools and our paid, earned, and owned media
  • Inform business rules development for dynamic communications strategies aimed at creating increasingly optimized web platforms and communications devices.
  • Lead a team of Analysts and CRM Administrators, globally
  • Stay up to date on state of the art statistical and mathematical approaches to building and managing customer profiles, segmentation, marketing and sales analytics technology, and the evolution of data driven decision making



 External Relationships:

  • Frequent contact with Kerry agencies as well as Kerry ICT and analytics partners

    Frequent contact with technology providers (Google, Salesforce, LinkedIn, etc), digital media organizations, advertising technology organizations, and emerging media companies

  • Occasional contact with Kerry customers and partners.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, mathematics, economics, finance, marketing, social sciences, computer science, or other related degree. Masters/MBA preferred
  • 12+ years experience in CRM strategy, or analytics/data sciences within a a B2B marketing/sales organization, advertising agency, or consulting firm
  • Exposure to complex CRM ecosystems, ideally in manufacturing/industrial organizations
  • Significant experience in CRM strategy, digital marketing, social media technology, communications strategy, and execution
  • Experience with Social Listening tools, Social Management Platforms, Digital Media, Data Management Platforms, Trafficking Tools, Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics, and Salesforce Sales and Marketing Cloud technology is critical (Salesforce CRM, Einstein, Pardot)
  • At least 5 years of team management and staff leadership
  • Familiarity with and ability to capably review qualitative and quantitative research
