Read diagrams and drawings to determine work procedures
Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during installation, setting up and repair of machinery
Install machinery and mechanical equipment according to the layout plans using hand and power tools
Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate abnormalities and malfunctions
Troubleshoot basic electrical systems
Complete appropriate documentation according to company procedures
Make modifications to tools and fixtures including the fabrication of new parts as required
Monitor and follow maintenance schedule to ensure efficient running of equipment and machinery
Review preventative maintenance schedules regularly to assess and revise
Interact with internal and external vendors
3-5 years of maintenance expereince in a manufacturing environment, food industry preferred
Refrigeration and electrical experience is considered an asset
Certified Millwright or Licensed Maintenance mechanic certified or equivalent
