    The Food Protection & Fermentation (FP&F) Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for implementing our global strategy and ensuring our marketing objectives are achieved.

    They will have responsibility for leading, developing and delivering FP&F marketing activities, which clearly communicate our value propositions to both internal and external customers.

    They will have responsibility for watching new food trends, gathering customer insights, and together with our business teams, translating these into actionable commercial strategies, communication media and tactics.

    This is a new role and we are looking for an experienced marketing manager, who is proactive, skilled at relationship building and who has a strong drive for results.

    Description and Responsibilities

    Key responsibilities of this role include:

      • To be a strategic partner and commercial catalyst for our FP&F business, leveraging Kerry’s TastNutrition commercial & applications infrastructure to expand our global reach.
      • Direct and influence FP&F commercial strategic planning activities, ensuring alignment of marketing
      • activities, regional prioritization and new business development opportunities.
      • Determine market sizes and quantify opportunities for FP&F products in relevant markets based on market potential, competitor market shares and other relevant market dynamic
      • Identify and feed emerging consumer trends into our innovation planning process, supporting stron
      • Alignment of pipeline with true customer and consumer needs
      • Lead the development of the FP&F marketing plan, containing clear strategies and tactics that wil
      • Drive the business forward. Responsible for the successful delivery of the marketing plan, in partnership with the relevant end use market teams
      • Cross functionally partner with our end use market teams and leverage market intelligence to appropriately assess markets and target account opportunities.
      • Develop sales collateral, taking a cross functional approach on development of customized material for customer engagement
      • Develop, execute and manage external communication programs; trade publications, media outreac targeted campaigns, etc.
      • Partner with business leads to engage current and target customers on key strategic initiatives
      • Develop and deliver effective insight driven messaging and marketing collateral for both internal and external customers.
      • Managing content, presence and interaction at key conferences, trade shows and scientific events, including presenting at these events
      • Preparation and presentation of business updates for senior management and other key stakeholders
      • Manage one direct report, fostering an innovative yet collaborative culture that it strongly focused on delivering impact aligned with Kerry’s growth strategy.


    Requirements for this position


    The successful candidate will be an established marketing manager, comfortable operating in an international corporate yet entrepreneurial environment.


    • Minimum Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Marketing
    • 5-10  years relevant experience in the Food, Beverage or Pharma Industries, ideally with experience of the Food Protection segment.
    • Strong stakeholder management / facilitation skills with a demonstrated track record of operating effectively in a cross-functional environment
    • Strategic "Subject Matter Expert" with strong commercial and technical acumen.
    • Possess excellent leadership and communication skills - credible at senior level and able to facilitate and collaborate across a diverse stakeholder base.
    • Demonstrable success at anticipating customer needs (internal and external) and directing change in execution accordingly.
    • Quantitative and qualitative data analysis experience
    • Likes autonomy, is pro-active and results driven.
    • This position will require approx 30% travel in NA and internationally.
