    Description and Responsibilities

    Our Clark, NJ, Kerry plant is growing! The Maintenance Supervisor is located in Clark, NJ. A list of day to day responsibilities and duties are listed below. This facility runs three shifts with the Maintenance Supervisor being a 1st shift position. 

    • Provide first line leadership for the plant maintenance team responsible for asset care
    • The core focus for this role is to ensure machine availability is maximized and equipment is fit for purpose ensuring all compliance standards are maintained at all times, this includes the management & implementation of permanent corrective actions against all causes of failure and ensuring equipment life is maximized while achieving optimum value for money
    •  Responsible for predictive and preventive maintenance, maintenance repair and installation of equipment and manufacturing operations to ensure continuous production operations
    • Responsible for managing and controlling all day to day maintenance activities on site delivered by either in house maintenance crew, engineers or contract support
    • Responsible for up to 14 direct reports and 9 different work centers 
    • Local candidates required and/or willing to commute or relocate at own expense 

    Qualifications

     

    Essentials

    Desirable

        Education

    Engineering degree or technical school training preferred

    Equivalent experience in lieu of trainin within food, beverage or pharma

    Technical

                                                                                                

     

     

    7+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing environment

    3+ years of supervisory experience 

     

     

     

     

     

    Strong understanding or mechanical and electrical systems.

    Excellent troubleshooting ability

    Experience TPM and/or Lean initiatives

    Experience predictive/preventive maintenance programs

    Strong computer application skills,

    network and PC business application software

     

     

     

     

     

    Supervisory / Management experiences

    Food Industry experience

     Experience implementing TPM and/or Lean initiatives   

    Experience implementing predictive/preventive maintenance programs
