    Description and Responsibilities

     

    • Manage and develop staff within Demand Planning function:
      • Oversee and manage Individual Training and Development Plans
      • Ensure cross-training exists across all roles
      • Work with appropriate Supply Chain Managers and Corporate Supply Chain Team to provide broader BU / North America exposure and development

     

    • Oversee Demand Planning Processes
      • Demand Planning
      • Consensus Reporting
      • Customer Problem Resolution/Escalation
      • Customer Contingency Planning
      • Customer Floor-Stock Agreements oversight
      • New Product Launches
      • Single point of contact for Supply Chain with Account

     

    • Oversee and manage BU Demand Planning Cycle:
      • Oversee forecasting process
      • Provide Demand input to Monthly S&OP Meetings
      • Ensure Operations Supply Chain Team has clear visibility to customer demand
      • Host monthly meeting with Operations Supply Chain Team and Commercial to ensure alignment on completion of Monthly Demand Process
      • Provide Demand input to Monthly BU S&OP Meetings
      • Work with Corporate Supply Chain/Other BUs to continually improve and modify processes to drive accuracy and customer service levels
      • Ultimate responsibility for customer service and forecast accuracy metrics

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS degree from an accredited institution required in relevant area such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations, Business, Economics, Engineering, etc. preferred 
    • 4+ years proven experience working in supply chain; food and beverage industry experience, preferred. Prior experience with demand forecast planning required
    • Strong analytical capabilities; able to proactively identify market trends, seasonality and promotional impact
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
      • Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
      • Ability to communicate collaboratively with customer contacts
    • Experience supervising direct reports in addition to coaching and developing
    • Team player who can bring prior continuous improvement ideas and creative thinking to a highly complex, always evolving, fast growing organization
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, ERP Systems and related software and/or systems
    • Experience working in a high volume, (multiple sku’s) or highly complex supply chain matrix environment
    • Entrepreneurial in spirit, proactive, able to work autonomously, but excels in a collaborative environment
