The successful candidate will be responsible for income tax matters in North America. In addition, the role will involve exposure to tax matters across various countries in which Kerry operates, and is therefore suited to an individual who also wants involvement in international tax opportunities.
Based in the North America Tax function in Beloit, Wisconsin, this role will lead to significant career development opportunities for the right candidate. In addition to opportunities within Tax, opportunities regularly arise in other functions, including Finance and General Business. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to interact with, and learn from, the Senior Management Team. This role gives the right candidate a fantastic opportunity to learn and progress in an environment which will support, facilitate and promote career progression within Kerry.
•Liaising with Financial Control in Beloit
•Liaising with Regional & Group Tax Management
•Assisting with M&A integration activity and related restructuring, as required
•Preparation and review of North America income tax computations and tax returns
•Audit assistance as necessary
•Assist with transfer pricing matters
•Other ad hoc projects as assigned
•A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field or equivalent combination of education and related professional work experience
•An interest in developing corporation tax knowledge in all function areas
•Experience in corporation tax, but not required
•Familiarity with Hyperion, OneSource, and tax research software
•0-4 years of experience
•Excellent numerical and technical analysis skills
•Good knowledge of systems and IT
•Excellent Interpersonal Skills
•A proactive attitude with an ability to work on his/her own initiative
•Drive and determination
•Ability to prioritize and work on tight deadlines to ensure that compliance requirements are met in a timely and accurate manner
