    Description and Responsibilities

    The Marketing Specialist is responsible for working closely with the Sr. Marketing Manager and Marketing Manager in the Meat EUM on the innovation and implementation of the marketing strategy for Global and Strategic Accounts.  This team member will develop, implement and measure the customer engagement and communications strategy across a range of customer targets, as determined by the business. A key objective for this role will be to ensure our marketing efforts and resources are well aligned, are as effective and efficient as possible, and are having maximum impact for Meat EUM customers and cross-functional teams.

     

    • Supports the meat EUM marketing team in the execution of marketing communication initiatives for assigned global and strategic accounts driven by Kerry’s push technologies, current trends in the marketplace, and Insights contributing to Kerry’s top line growth.
    • Plan and lead large-scale, customer-driven engagements including innovation sessions, ideation presentations and product demonstrations
    • Develop and create templated marketing communications collateral outputs, such as sales presentations, trend presentations, and printed sales materials, to be accessed by the meat EUM sales organization
    • Assist in the execution of annual primary research projects and support the roll-out of relevant insights to key customer accounts
    • Collaborate with key Kerry departments (Sensory, R&D, Digital & MRCI, finance, etc) to gain and synthesize proprietary insights that are relevant, meaningful and trustworthy by key customer accounts
    • Responsible for timely communication and training of sales teams on relevant corporate communications and product portfolio initiatives
    • Maintain an events calendar, including key customer activities.
    • Support incremental insights and communication activities as assigned, with a strong focus on digital communication strategy

    Qualifications

    • BS degree in Business, Marketing, Strategic Communications or related field from an accredited institution. 
    • 1-3 years of experience in a contemporary marketing function within the food ingredient industry developing strategic communications in business-to-business or business-to-consumer environment.
    • Willingness to be a self-learner and the drive to harness analytical skills
    • Excellent writing and editing skills and masterful power point skills a must
    • A passion for delight and nourishing customers with Food and Beverage
