    Description and Responsibilities

    1. Operate, evaluate and make adjustments to various types of computerized equipment.
    2. Review work orders or formula’s to determine types and quantities of materials to weigh.
    3. Document products and lot codes on dump sheets/work orders.
    4. Weigh up ingredients on scales for specified amounts for each product/Re-weigh remaining ingredients and records new weight, lot number and date and place in storage.
    5. Stages full and partial containers on pallets for each mix.
    6.  Maintains organized and clutter-free partial ingredient storage area.
    7. Utilizes the proper sheeter set up.
    8. Utilizes the proper oven set up.
    9. Responsible for the pulling, weighing, dumping and recording of ingredients used.
    10. Able to operate fork lift.
    11. Maintain work area in a clean and safe manner.
    12. Maintain GMPS and 5S standards.
    13. Reports all Accidents and Near-misses immediately.


    Other duties and projects as assigned.


    • Strong organizational skills & excellent communication skills are essential.
    • Ability to read, write and communicate in English at a level to facilitate the understanding of the terminlolgy of the job.
    • Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions.
    • Ability to organize and plan ahead to maximize job efficiency and work safely.
    • Ability to walk from front office area to various areas of the plant several times a day.
    • Ability to strive for excellence in all areas; focus on effective internal and external customer-supplier relationships.
    • Ability to work well with others as well as individually.
    • Previous work experience within a food manufacturing and distribution environment.
    • Basic computer experience.
    • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
