    Description and Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will, be able to work independently, multi-task and respond quickly to frequent direction changes.  Work cross functionally, and have strong organizational, analytical and communication skills. Experience in a commercial food/beverage production environment and knowledge of food safety and quality is a definite plus.

    Primary Responsibilities 

    • Product sampling and preparation 
    • Analysis of raw materials, in-process and finished goods
    • Calibration
    • Daily GMP inspections 
    • Monthly audits
    • Sanitation support, titrations and best practices
    • Supporting production, fulfilment, shipping and receiving with on demand documentation, procedural and technical support, product releases, COAs
    • Records review 
    • Basic office support in filing, rotations, and ordering supplies
    • Manage retention samples
    • Keep area clean 
    • Other opportunities such as supporting R&D, short term project management, safety committee etc. are also available.

     

     

    Qualifications

    A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, LIMS, HACCP and GMP’s is desired. Laboratory experience is preferred but will train the right candidate. 

     

    • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
    • Basic Lab Skills
    • Ability to Multi-Task
