    Description and Responsibilities

    The Jackson, WI location creates dry beverage products for Kerry customers and brands.  The Maintenanc Techinician supports production for our 24/7 facility.  This is a 2nd shift position with availability to work some weekends.

    • Troubleshoots all problems and performs regular preventative maintenance.
    • Works with supervisors and staff to detect equipment malfunction and discuss machine operation settings to diagnose problem or repair machine.
    • Dismantles machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
    • Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
    • Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
    • Repairs and maintains physical structure of the facility.
    • Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, and drill to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
    • Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
    • Performs Preventative Maintenance on all equipment including forklifts, HVAC systems, air compressors, boilers, and all Production equipment.

    • High School diploma required or technical school preferred; three to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Knowledge and ability to operate production machines, forklifts, scissor lifts, and related equipment.
    • Knowledge of the following areas:
      • Welding/Fabrication
      • Hydraulics/Pneumatics
      • Building maintenance
      • Electrical/Electronics/PLC a Plus
      • HVAC
      • Forklift (maintenance/operation)
      • Lockout/Tagout
      • Blueprints/schematics/building plans
      • Preventative Maintenance and workload organization
