    Description and Responsibilities

    We are a  multi-national food company searching for a Food Sales Professional to sell both the United States and International markets of Mexico and Canada.


    • Key Responsibilities: Direct all sales efforts as Account Manager for assigned customers in Seattle area.
    • Manage customer relationships and negotiate customer agreements that deliver against annual operating plans aligned with End Use Market, Channel, G Account, strategic accounts and strategic growth initiatives. Create sustainable growth for Kerry and our customers.
    • Manage and strengthen customer relationships with Kerry, including overseeing all customer activities in accordance with customer segmentation guidelines. Complete commercial agreements with customers in compliance with Kerry guidelines.
    • Develop and execute strategic plan to optimise the use of all Kerry technologies.
    • Secure agreement and execute pricing plans.
    • Provide input to and ensure staff compliance with all applicable Kerry systems/processes.
    • Participate in the development, implementation and achievement of annual budgets.
    • Monitor any variances and work closely with the Sales Operations team to improve overall customer satisfaction.
    • Analyze business trends to develop business growth strategy and manage total opportunity pipeline.
    • Candidate is expected to represent the company in a professional and polished manner with expected job travel percentage of approximately 40%.


    Education -


    A bachelors degree from an accredited institution as a minimum and a Masters degree would be preferable. Ag Science or Food Science. 




    • 7+ years experience in either a technical sales role or Product Development.
    • Previous work experience in direct representation of food manufacturing companies with focus on maintain existing business and presenting new products.
    • Previous work experience interfacing with Club Wholesalers over the phone and in person through client meetings is preferred. A strong background dealing with Club Store Clients
    • Maintaining a strong knowledge base of food trends and issues.
    • Candidate should be able to contribute to wider category knowledge of innovative new products and competitors.
    • Candidate should have experience dealing directly with inter-company related professionals such as Technical services, Quality Assurance and Marketing
    • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position within the food and beverage sector
    • Experience working with Research and Development professionals on customized products for mutual customer and company benefit.
    • Strong verbal and written skills in English (Spanish is not required but would be preferred)
