    Description and Responsibilities


    The Treasury & Insurance Manager is a key advisor to Executive Management as it provides treasury, insurance and other financial management services to strategic business units within the North America region.


    Responsible for managing treasury control and support services within the North America region including cash management, financial risk management, balance sheet metrics and reporting, as well as related statutory/Group policy compliance.


    Specific responsibilities include:



    • Manage facility usage, borrowings, free cash flow targets, and finance charges for the region in conjunction with the division’s strategic business units.
    • Provide assistance in the implementation of SAP.
    • Manage transactional foreign exchange, interest, and derivative risks in conjunction with North America SBU's, in accordance with Group policies.
    • Identify counterparty risk and ensure proper procedures are in place for the granting and ongoing monitoring of credit facilities provided.
    • Manage the insurance requirements of Kerry North America and source appropriate insurance coverage (including self-insurance), insurance services and risk management services.
    • Determine funding requirements for Kerry North America and source according to Group policies.
    • Develop Key Performance Indicators and provide accurate and timely performance and management reporting.
    • Establish appropriate internal controls for the treasury function and ensure compliance- Contribute to the development of treasury best practice and implement in Kerry North America.
    • Supervise the management of payment card programs and the company fleet of vehicles.
    • Oversee the accounting for, 401k and H&W activity from a finance/accounting perspective.
    • Resource and train appropriate treasury personnel for Kerry North America.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with commercial bankers, brokers and insurers.
    • Lead Treasury and Insurance acquisition due diligence and integration.
    • Leading the working capital and BOCF initiatives and reporting for N.A.
    • Inventory Reserve for N.A.





    Must have:

    • Professional Qualification preferred but Finance and Accounting Degree necessary
    • 5 years in a similar role or financial control


    Preferred but not necessary:

    • Experience in Treasury
    • SAP experience
    • Experience in people management
