Description and Responsibilities

This role is responsible for executing the production schedule through data entry of Manufacturing orders, coordination of materials between the warehouse/production facility (includes co-manufacturers), and ensuring updated process descriptions accompany paperwork to the production floor.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop safety stock, minimum order quantities, optimal quantities for Intermediates, Finished Goods, and Raw Materials.

  • Purchase of materials, supplies and equipment as needed based upon specifications established by Kerry quality.
  • Utilize MPS/MRP and manage MAPICS tools to identify requirements for order fulfilment, safety stock requirements and new product introductions. Sequences manufacturing orders to insure minimal downtime, considering scheduling aspects of Kosher, Allergens and clean outs.
  • Lead weekly scheduling review with production, maintenance and quality groups.
  • Communicate to key stakeholders on updates, material transfer requests to/from the warehouse to ensure production has materials at the production facility in time for blending and manufacturing.
  • Responsible for completion of PO/CO process to transfer/ship materials between warehouses and plant. Assist with releasing and managing POs to vendors.
  • Understand raw material purchasing specifications.
  • Provide analysis and follow-up to ensure all plant Service, Inventory, and other KPI’s are met or exceeded



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • APICS Certification preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, distribution environment a plus
  • Strong analytical skills; in depth knowledge of computerized integrated information systems and superior understanding of manufacturing material flow
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Strong communicator and possess strong organizational skills, with ability to work on multiple priorities at once.
  • Must be a proactive change agent and possess leadership skills to build and maintain a team-oriented environment.
