    Description and Responsibilities

     

     Responsibilities:

     

          Drive Business Growth

      • Develop clear Value Propositions & “how to win” playbooks for sales teams
      • Deliver growth via SGI framework & owning relevant SGI projects
      • Be the Subject Matter Expert for given technology group to deliver commercial pipeline
      • Product Creation, End to End Portfolio Management
      • Create competitive benchmarking & evolution of Kerry Core Competences
      • Develop & execute M&A target
      • Successfully commercialize new products
      • Develop & implement technology innovation plans for technology group’s marketing & sales team

    Maximize Current Business

      • Ensure performance vs agreed targets for volume, revenue, margin & BOP of portfolio
      • Partner with commercial finance to set pricing strategy for portfolio
      • Create & implement incentives, multi-year supply agreements with key customers
      • Manage performance of Middle Office vs KPI’s – supply chain, operations, quality
      • Collaborate with procurement for raw material supply & cost management
      • Development of contingency plans for risk mitigation within manufacturing sites
      • Execution of business cases for any growth capital expenditures
      • Lead improvements to ROI on front office spend

     

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required
    • Master’s, or PhD in Food Science or related discipline preferred
    • Must have 7-10 years progressively responsible, post baccalaureate experience in related technical or R&D roles within a food company
    • Experience with business to business value added ingredients, in particular value added lipids and dairy ingredients.
    • Experience managing P&L for business sized between $100-$200MM
    • Experience building & implementing a strategic business plan – including market & customer segmentation, growth planning & portfolio expansion.
    • Proactively brings the outside in to identify opportunities and threats beyond current tasks. Digs beneath the surface to really understand customer needs and the key external
    • drivers of success.
    • Demonstrated ability to connect & leverage a matrixed organization with various levels of stakeholders
    • Ability to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes
    • Clear thinker and communicator, with the ability to articulate and influence across all levels of an organization, both internal and external
    • Demonstrated ability to formulate technical strategies and turn them into clear compelling actionable plans and results
    • Demonstrated past success in commercialization of new products & technologies
    • Leadership and management (of employees, projects or agencies)
    • 30% travel with frequent visits to Beloit
