    Job Duties:                

    Responsible for implementing Kerry's sales strategy and hold direct customer account responsibility for our Cell Nutrition customers in the mid-west and east coast USA. Work closely with international colleagues and evaluate the market for new and existing products and/or raw materials. May present functional application findings to the industry or customers, as applicable. Also responsible for understanding the latest cell culture and microbial market needs and implementing strategy to add value against those needs for our customers. Specifically, achieve a deep level of understanding of Kerry's Cell Nutrition customers' objectives and strategies, technical processes, and consumer insights to achieve significant value creation for Kerry and the customer. Continue to develop strong strategic relationships within customers' organisations, including R&D, Marketing, and Procurement, as well as foster counterpart relationships within Kerry. Develop and implement Cell Nutrition strategy through market evaluation, application evaluation, understanding and capability assessment. Moreover, defend current business with established customer base and create and manage total opportunity pipeline of quality growth projects with current and target customers. Provide technical support to the assigned customer base by leveraging internal resources and subject matter experts and continually manage and strengthen customers' relationships with Kerry. Partner with commercial finance leads to ensure business forecasts and margin management are consistent with expectations, as well as negotiate and execute pricing plans. Support the development of commercial agreements with customers in compliance with Kerry guidelines (e.g. legal agreements, supply agreements, stocking agreements, etc.). Also be accountable for providing input to and complying (including indirectly through other team members) with all Kerry systems/processes appropriate for this role. Position requires 50% domestic and international travel to Kerry sites and client sites.


    The Account Manager-Cell Nutrition position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a related field and One (1) year of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate pharmaceutical industry experience. Additionally, the applicant must have experience with: i) RD&A, process manufacturing, operations and quality; ii) Protein hydrolysate, yeast extract, recombinant protein manufacturing and their end use applications; iii) Cell culture, microbial fermentation and diagnostic industries; iv) Translating competitive and marketplace knowledge into effective strategy and action plan for customer deliverable.


    Rate of Pay:               $80,205/year to $123,089/year
