Description and Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

 

  • Works independently with customers, sales representatives, Managing Director, and outside agencies to support the process, follow-up and complete the accurate delivery of orders from the United States to various locations throughout the world.
  • Processes other customer and sales requests such as the shipment of product samples, ingredient statements, regulatory compliance, and labeling information as well as any other collateral sales materials requested.
  • Completes and follows up on the timely payment of invoices of product shipped and resolution of any outstanding payments due.
  • Investigates and resolves any shipping problems including possible damaged freight issues.
  • Assists with the planning and preparation of various intermittent international trade shows, marketing or sales campaigns and educational seminars.
  • Completes detail oriented documentation and communications.
  • Works regularly with intermediate to advanced computer functions, programs and software.

 

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or 2+ years eq working experience in manufacturing environment

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Qualifications

  • Bilingual, preferred
  • Proficiency with computer programs especially Microsoft Office Suite
  • ERP software experience a plus
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, often changing environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience with import and/or export shipping, preferred
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate across all functions
  • Ability to multi-task and respond quickly to situations.
  • Detail oriented with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
