Description and Responsibilities

 

Under leadership of the Director of Culinary;

  • Supports all chefs and execute strategy for Taste & Nutrition internally and externally.
  • Support Culinary Gold Standard recipes to support Taste Creation.
  • Support the engagement of Taste Delivery to Chain Accounts and processors
  • Support Taste Delivery to strategic targeted accounts and Lead for assigned accounts.
  • Build credible customer partnerships with targeted growth accounts based on knowledge of our technologies, functionalities and application impact.

Position the Culinary brand of Kerry to be “best in class” in the industry.

 

  • Support Product Development by developing gold standard recipes
  • Develop and showcase strategic culinary applications via collaboration with EUMs, Channels, Customers and Technologies
  • Showcase culinary applications to strategically assigned customers through intimate knowledge of products and polished Taste delivery to the customer.
  • Developing an intimate knowledge of customers BOH operations and feed customer specific information back into the Culinary team.
  • Establish a synergistic approach within the Culinary Gold Standard process to aid developers in RD&A innovation.
  • Incorporate DEED in leading innovations and new customer insights by leveraging market trends, consumer insights, customer needs & gaps, and Kerry’s technologies.
  • Develop Culinary relationships (Chef to Chef) and key customer leadership/decision makers, as appropriate
  • Execute Taste training for Culinary Applications on finished products to tie into Menu’s and Culinary training for RD&A and Chef Associates

Execute day-to-day customer requests for internal Kerry Center engagements.

 

Qualifications

  • BS Food Science with Culinary Certificate or AOS Culinary Degree with relevant work experience
  • Work Experience in the Food Ingredient Industry - Preferred
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong background in restaurant cookery and advanced culinary skills.
  • Applicable food processing technology expertise.
  • Basic understanding of food chemistry, sensory, microbiology, food packaging systems and food engineering.
  • Ability to drive flawless execution of presentations.
  • Problem solving and complaint resolution.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams at multi levels within the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills.
  • Contributing to high performing and effective teams.
