Description and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for general financial accounting; recording financial data; reconciliation of ledger accounts, resolution of month-edits for the period closing.
  • Responsible for the Fixed Asset System – reporting and Kerry audit compliance.
  • Business partner with manufacturing. Make recommendations based on trends, business opportunities, and potential improvements in efficiency or cost savings.
  • Ensures compliance to required regulations and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an applicable field of study such as Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of general accounting principles as related to a manufacturing environment.
  • Achievement in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Proven ability to lead with the following key competencies: Technical Expertise, Strategic Thinking & Influence, Process Optimization, and Leading & Managing Change
  • Minimum 3 years of Cost Accounting and Inventory experience
