    Description and Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Purchasing Senior Manager of Packaging, the Packaging Engineering Manager will be responsible for directing, coordinating, and leading new and current product development activities for packaging across Kerry North America. This individual will also perform the following duties:

    • Lead all new packaging commercialization's to ensure effective execution and on time delivery
    • Review existing packaging to optimize material, operational execution and cost
    • Organize and execute against packaging transit testing
    • Ensure packaging specifications are reviewed and appropriate for use within Kerry’s business
    • Be a subject matter expert on the following items: corrugated, flat and formed films, bottles, paper sacks, aseptic cartons, folding cartons, and liquid bag-in-box
    • Identify and present new packaging ideas and innovations
    • Monitor and disseminate industry trends and market news impacting the business.

    Qualifications

    • 5-8 years of packaging design/development experience.
    • Bachelor degree from an accredited institution in packaging engineering. Master degree preferred.
    • In addition to strong English communication skills, Spanish language skills are beneficial.
