Description and Responsibilities

The Production Supervisor will work 2:00pm to 10:20pmCST, Monday-Friday as well as able to work extended hours when needed. 

 

This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers concerned with shipping, receiving, and storing materials in a first-in and first-out manner while creating a positive work environment for employees.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage outbound shipment scheduling to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers
  • Plan work schedules of warehouse staff
  • Oversee all inbound and outbound freight is properly documented and conforms to Company standards
  • Monitor all inspections (forklift, hoist, etc.) ensuring all equipment is being inspected properly and is running correctly
  • Serve as a resource to investigate and respond to warehousing and freight related customer complaints
  • Manage all warehouse employees to ensure all guidelines are followed. Ensure employees are properly trained and certified to execute their duties
  • Oversee inventory of all raw ingredients, packaging supplies, and finished goods
  • Lead and direct team members to ensure efficient flow of warehouse
  • Perform employee evaluations; set goals and objectives.

 

 

Qualifications

 

 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing warehouse facility
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual, preferred
  • Forecasting, inventory management and training experience
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Food manufacturing experience, preferred
